Trek!!!

Sorry this is so long and confusing i just wanted all of you guys to know what we did on the trek. I dont have any pictures of us on the actual trek but if you look on my sisters blog later there will be some on hers: http://www.hannahfarmer.blogspot.com/
i'm leaving for California tomorrow so thats why i don't have any pictures!

This past week I went on the trek with my stake!! it was so much fun!! i enjoyed it so much! for our trek we were each put into a family and my parents for the trek were John and Lori Foote and my brothers were Austin Rawlings, Matt Star, Kekoa Nawahine, and Issac Preston my sisters were Elizabeth Hinatsu, Kathryn Christensen, and Bridget Odermot! my family was alot of fun and we all got to know each other better!
Now i'm going to kind of explain what we did on the trek. on the first day we drove for 11 hours in a bus! it was kind of a nightmare but we made it fun! when we finally got to where we were staying we set our tents up and then we ate, now you probably know that our family is really picky so i didn't have anything they cooked us and we all just ate our own food the whole week! so after dinner we went to rock creek and listened to different stories about different pioneers and there trials. so that night was really cold and when we woke up that morning there was frost on the ground, ya just a bit cold!! lol so the next day we woke up packed all of our stuff and was on our way to independence rock. independence rock was really big and hard to climb but after you got up there we just explored and had fun! then after independence rock we went to the martins cove visitor center and we watched a movie and after that we were on our way with our handcarts! we did 7 miles that day and it was pretty hard my feet were dieing at the end but we all made it safely and had a great time while doing it! so that night we set our tents up and we danced a little and then our ward played some really fun games!! One thing that was really cool was that our ward was the only ward that did a cheer and that played games and we just had alot of fun! So after everyone was telling us to go to bed we went to bed and woke up the next morning from a lion king call by Hans Dahle and Derick Perren. This day we did alot of fun and cool things we did 10 miles this day which was alot but it was fun! we went to martins cove and we crossed the sweet water river and thats where the 3 boys rescued alot of people and they ended up dieing at the end but this story was told by President Hinckley and it was a recording, and it was a really cool story! So then after everyone crossed the sweet water river the boys left for the Mormon Betallion, so all the girls pushed the handcarts up this really big hill and it was really hard but it was good for us! So after we all about died lol jk the boys came back and pushed the rest and we returned the carts and were off back to were we were sleeping,when we got there alot of the tents were flat and some of them had blown away so that was sad but none of ours had blown away just some of them broke! :( That night we had a testimony meeting and it was really good alot of people bore there testimony and some people went out of there shell so i thought that was really cool! The next day we were on our way to Utah to take a shower! so we all took a shower and went to golden coral! it was so delicious! the next day we were the first bus to leave for baptisms for the dead so we left at 6 am so that was early but it was good so we didn't have to wait for anyone! that day was the fun one we went to the humanitarian center, the conference center, and then we saw the Joseph Smith video. Later after all of that walking we had dinner and we played some more games, we danced some more and we had a little fireside. the fireside was pretty long but it was good then we were on our way home we only had to drive for about 6 hours so it wasn't that bad but it was good to be home!! It was so much fun tho! i enjoyed it alot!! I got to know people that i never talked to before!
